I am a certified ESL teacher with a Master’s in International Education and over ten years of experience teaching in bilingual, international, and language schools. My passion for education stems from a lifelong love of learning and teaching, which I have cultivated across various disciplines and age groups.
My teaching journey began at a young age when I eagerly set up a whiteboard at home to teach my parents algebra. Throughout university, I worked as both a math tutor and a gymnastics coach, reinforcing my commitment to education. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, I moved to Prague, Czech Republic, where I obtained my TEFL certification and began teaching English as a foreign language.
I was fortunate to begin my career at a bilingual school in Ostrava, CZ, where I primarily taught mathematics in English. In addition to math, I instructed students in science, history, music, and physical education. During this time, I was also invited as a guest lecturer at Ostrava Technical University, where I led a 40-hour course designed for secondary and university instructors on teaching mathematics in English.
After several years, I returned to Prague, where I continued teaching in bilingual and language schools, with a focus on English, mathematics, and Cambridge English exam preparation (Starters, Movers, Flyers, KET, PET). I also worked as a Year 5 class teacher at a British international school. Beyond academics, my passion for education extended into wellness and movement, and I became a certified yoga and prenatal fitness instructor.
In 2023, I relocated to Italy, where I now work as a full-time ESL instructor in a small city near Milan. My current teaching portfolio includes Young Learners, Business English, exam preparation, and CLIL courses for subject teachers.
I am deeply committed to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment, where students feel confident in developing their English skills. Whether working with children, professionals, or educators, my goal is to create dynamic lessons that empower learners to thrive.
